LE PETIT OLIVIERPARTNER OF
Founded by Francine and Patrick Violas, La Tanière is first and foremost a shelter whose primary mission is to welcome and protect all animals abandoned, in distress or without a solution, whether they come from zoos, circuses, laboratories or have been seized.
The teams care for these animals and re-home those that can be re-homed, in facilities that share the same values and ethics. It's also a project with an educational mission, with the aim of changing the way people look at animals and enabling them to understand them better.
La Tanière has also set itself a unique scientific vocation, with animal welfare as its driving force. The refuge is involved in breeding programs and the preservation of endangered species, but not in breeding.

OCTOBER 2022
For several weeks now, La Tanière has been collecting 200 donkeys from a collaboration between Israel and France. Since April, La Tanière and Starting Over Sanctuary have been working together to give these animals a more peaceful life.
As a brand that has always been committed to animal and planetary ethics, Le Petit Olivier supports this action by welcoming a dozen donkeys to its grounds at Epône in the Yvelines region, where they can enjoy a peaceful life and be pampered by all employees.

Once again this year, from February 22 to March 31, Le Petit Olivier will donate €2 to La Tanière for every order placed on the site.

Come and meet the animals and the care teams. Tickets are available all year round on the site! You can also make a donation to La Tanière's endowment fund, an action of solidarity and citizenship towards the animal cause.
Since its creation in 2018 and thanks to the support of its donors, La Tanière has been able to rescue 1,550 animals, carry out 171 emergency interventions, 726 medical interventions and re-home 789 animals.
